Chan Hur

About Me

Chan Hur received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Kyungpook National University (advised by Prof. Hyeyoung Park). He is currently a researcher in the Digital Convergence Research Department at ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute), where he works on VLMs, multimodal retrieval, and GUI agents. His research focuses on multimodal learning and multimodal applications with LLMs/LMMs, particularly in text–video retrieval, GUI agents, compositional image retrieval, video question answering, and large language/multimodal models. He also works on domain-specific AI for medical applications. He is interested in bridging semantic gaps between heterogeneous modalities and advancing multimodal representation learning.
